www.punaball.com wrote: After almost winning their first leg against Bullshit, Swoot just forfeited their second leg when they were 5-1 down. A shameful action which will surely be followed by their elimination from the cup. Bullshit in any case was outraged : "I can't believe they just quit on us, just when things were brightening up and now our goalaverage still sucks donkeyballs". In their match against Siurt, Swoot didn't leave but stayed out till the full 20 minutes were played. With a comfortable endresult of 31-9, Siurt can now look forward to their semifinal against the team to emerge second in poule 2 which most probably will be Fubar or V8.
Rules don't mention anything against foirfeits.
Looking on past punaball cups' topics i just can see forfeits by lots of players (you are one of them) that now are currently playing this cup.
I don't see any reasons in playing a match in a laggy server when we have zero chances of victory.
So don't blame us, you should simply remaind that we played all games in an european server, also if our server is located in america, and we played a very good cup winning good players and loosing because of huge lags which prevented us in making a good game.

I can understand that, although it's kind of unfair towards your opponents. I know I would be quite upset if my opponents ran away in the middle of a game.

You had the right to play 1 leg on your own server, so why didn't you make use of it?

People told us we shouldn't sign up for that cup because our server is located in america.
I thought that it was better to play our matches in a neutral server also if lag sometimes prevented us to see the ball too.
I am sorry for other players but when we forfeited we were to angry to continue.
Maybe is better to not count goals difference for matches played vs us.

Although this doesn't concern me anymore, just wanted to mention that the rules on punaball.com don't say anything about goal-differences. Actually the rules don't say anything about two teams ending up on same points. But if that happens, why not let the match the two teams played against each other solve the winner?

This was what I thought too, but unfortunately it's not like that, otherwise Ippon would have won its 1st Round Group.

It is what i told to HH too but he answered me that i was a fool (or something worste) so i decided to not tell it again but i surely agree with you.

I post the mail i received from punabll.com

"I can only agree; the one thing that has always been more that a pain in the ass surrounding our cups and competitions has been lag to one party whereas the opponent had litle to none. Therefore is is not surprising that i went out of my way to find the right definition of a playable server (the 160 ms ping thingy). However, despite this 'rule' and the rule of 1 leg per server, it is simply impossible to have all players have their matches in decent servers when especially some play from across the atlantic. And it is true that i myself forfeited in former cups although lag was not the only reason.

for this I can only thank u for joining in the first place and i hope this letdown and annoyance wont leave u absent in future cups. After all Punaball is still a great game to play.

kind regards,[FN] ThE BORg

p.s. I couldnt log on to the forum (my username wasnt recognised and i couldnt get a new one) and i would be happy if u would paste this responds into ur comment"

J? Bar has played very well and trained a lot. Last time I saw Bar play PB and when I made those speculations the difference is huge.

Bar plays normal games so poor because he doesn't applicate at all .
I think everyone can beat him in a normal game because he didn't care of defence . During official matches he give is best.
Moreover don't forget that he is playing with an World Champ finalist...!!
I expected them to be on top 4. they will rank 2nd so that's a nice surprice for me.
I hope to be able to confirm my self in next cups (with a normal mate)

Don t worry T!!! in that tournament you really have no opponents.
All best players took mediocre team mates.
Let's hope for next one.....

Ps: sometimes bar has really good luck....you should start worrying :D

If you are already the best team you have no goals to reach, I liked dimostrating that speculations were wrong. I won't choose a best-player in next competition too.
