Wazaari isn't part anymore of Ippon Team

Post by dede » Wed Jan 17, 2007 11:31 pm

Ippon Team is sad to announce that Wazaari isn't part of the team any longer. This decision was taken due to player's behaviour in last months.

We thank Wazaari for his contribution to team's success in these years and we wish all the best luck for his future.

Warning: Please note that Wazaari is keeping Ippon tag though he has been kicked. We aren't accepting that, but we have no ways to make him remove it (asking wasn't enough). So, please remember that Ippon is no longer responsible for his actions.

I thought Waza started Ippon? How did he get kicked, from his own team?

Sad to hear this... :?

That is a little wierd. Wazaari is the founder of it. What was so bad that he got kicked off for?

Wazaari started Ippon, but lost his leadership in last months: so he can be kicked like every other member.

  Ippon2, I think you should just have Ippon and wazaari isn't part of it. This is supprising to hear this though. Do anything you can to make wazaari give up his tag.

Ippon was created by Wazaari, in my opinion, no one has the right to make him remove the tag.

Even if he has done stupid things recently, i am not going to turn around and forget the good things he has done, i hope others feel this way too.

If the team is not happy with it's creator / leader, then exiting the team [to form another] is the best thing to do. Kick the creator? :|

These are just my thoughts...

Ippon and wazaari are both judo related words(and for the record the only reason I know that, is because we got 2 judo medals from the last Summer Olympic games), so perhaps ippon2 isn't a very good team name, but none of my business.

A downfall of another team, nothing lasts forever.

Excuse me? Downfall? The way I see things, Ippon is still there, as strong as ever. Only the name has changed a bit, kind of like McLaren is nowadays McLaren Mercedes. (Of course Ippon is more like Ferrari 8) )

Oh, and btw, it's Ippon², not Ippon2

After reading Wazaari's point of view in that other thread, this turn of events seems a lot like a takeover by dede, a rise to power so to speak. sorry if it hurts you, dede, but for whatever reason I have taken Wazaari's side here. A clan member should NEVER kick the team founder from the team, it's as simple as that. good luck to everyone.. you've all given your impression and that's what will be remembered. sad to see Wazaari go, my condolences to you :( whoever feels that he should ban me for this post, oh please do. and don't try to reconvince me of anything, dede, I have a right for an opinion and I'll stick to it. I have spoken.

Men, I don't have to convince anyone. Decision to kick Wazaari/start a new team was taken and was supported by Ippon members. That's enough for me. I don't care of what the community thinks about this topic: we solved our problem, and suddenly we decided to save Ippon instead of killing it (do you think that quitting a team in 8 players out of 9 wouldn't have killed it?). But yes, this isn't anymore the same team as before: we founded a new team.

You could have chosen a little better name for that "new" team...

Team name isn't important, people composing the team are. Call us Ippon, Ippon², or whatever you want: we are here and we are a team.

I had spoken to wazaari yesterday and he will not come back to Ippon. Even though this is not right to do. He has full authority over the team, and yet dede kicks him off, which I clearly don't get. But anyway Wazaari isn't comming back... :? By reading Wazaari's post it sounds to me as if dede want's full power over Ippon and doesn't care what others think.... Dede this is totaly bizare. :?

Teams change, people change, world changes... It's pretty clear that if the team leader/founder has done something that isn't proper for the team and compromises the teams ideals then what's left of that team? Nothing.

It could have been a better way other drivers to just leave ippon and let Waza continue to lead the team how he likes it and not to kick Waz and name the new team to that lamez0r ippon². Some new team(name) with a new start to build a better world.

Dede said that it wasn't purely his decision to kick Waz so Waz hadn't the team drivers support anymore. Other way Dede would have been left alone and Waz continued with the ippon.

Teams aren't (should not be) lead by just the leader but also the other drivers. I don't know what really was the situation but if all other players continue with Dede then I think Dede's decision was the right one.

@Dede
The team name is as important as the team itself. It creates the team foundations and ideals :)

Yes, that's why we wanted to keep Ippon as team name. We believe in our project. Using a different tag.. yeah, it was easier and cooler. But why changing if we FEEL Ippon.

Typical reaction of someone who's never been in a team and of someone who thinks a team is only a cool tag to put before his name.
