Fraps works great... Try to change settings-->start fraps-->click MOVIES-->increase recording FPS (30fps=lower quality & 60fps better quality)

Has any video maker tested the new -capture command line option? By using that, you get a bmp image for every frame you play when playing a recording. You have to record audio separately, thoguh, but in theory that is the way to achieve the best video quality.

i will but did u make it with a one at the end? (for example -capture 1) like u did with -airecord 1 and -lapdebug 1 i will try it out if u don't reply but ur the "game maker" and i thought it would be easier to ask u

I am not sure if I understood the question but for example, when you add a command line option -capture 10 (the same way as you would do with -lapdebug 1, yes) and play a recording, the first 10 seconds are saved as BMP images in directory "capture".

Did you play a recording inside TS when using that option? It doesn't capture live games, only recordings. You should also get a message about OpenGL not being used since it is not supported with capturing.
Capture directory should appear under TS installation directory - the same place where there are tracks, cars, doc, lang etc. If you still can't see it, check if there are any revelant error messages in output.txt.

Well i tested out the screen capture command line option today & its good if you want to capture something quite short, but to capture a lap or more does take a long time.
