Post by mansell » Tue Jun 07, 2005 9:01 pm

well, i create a car and edited some engine sound to add to it.. ok untill here no problem.. the problem is when playing, ts doesnt play the sound properly, distort it, or something like that..

so i need some help about how ts work with sounds.. if it has a pre Hz definet.. etc..

and if someone knows a good program to edit, plz tell me..

I don't remember right now the exact details, but things should at least work if you make the sample 44100 Hz 16-bit mono sample so that when played with that frequency, it is the "full speed" sound. I think that WAV format allows many different formats and it might also be that you are using some non-standard one. It might help if you try saving it with some other WAV editor.

you need edit your wav file, is not important the HZ but the pitch of the sound.
if you hear it very low try to increase the pitch or if you hear it high decrease the pitch.

PS: a good program to edit the sounds is SONY SOUND FORGE, just go on effects>pitch>bend and move the scroll to edit it
