I've started to create a track using Coral draw and then Photoshop.
I really have an issue with pattern file.
How do you index the colour in photoshop?
When I do it, the result is like a brick wall in the game.
Its supposed to be the tracks outline. haha.
Can anyone help me out?
Tijny wrote:The pattern file should be a paletted png-file where every color index represents its own terrain. In your case, you probably want to fill the desired area with either index 2 (tarmac) or index 15 (track edge). If you need to know other terrain id's, take a look at the file /data/terrains.ter.

The only problem is, not ALL ID's will be there, and making some things will be impossible (without setting ID's manually). For a beginner, this way works well (i have been playing for 2.5 years and i always use the same table).
Good luck.
Thanks for your previous answer Tijny.
But where do i tell photoshop what the colours are and how do I use the colour table??
Thanx
