Hi Jeff and other TSM Moto GP participants. I was wondering, that would it be possible in any way to have the next GP (at 19th) one hour later? I know that it's quite late and that I'm asking a lot. If it isn't possible, I totally understand. It's just that I have a company visit on monday at 9.00 pm CET, and it will end around 10.30 pm. If I put pedal to the metal, I could just make back here before 11.00 CET. If it would be okay to everyone that participates, I would be very very grateful. If it won't suit to everyone, that's okay, I totally understand. But I really wouldn't want to miss the next race.

Oh, and please reply as soon as possible. Thanks.

Hi. There's now space for one hungry player, I'm leaving this cup. I feel like I'm outsider in this comminuty and cannot get good motivation in race. So I think it's better take some breath.

MOTO GP NEWS

Today i will release the shanghai track to be used monday.

Keppan retired from the championship and will not be replaced by another driver.

Regarding the time for monday. I suggest leaving it on the same time ie 10:00pm. The problem is that next time maybe other players cannot make it at 10:00, and so will have to play with time every race.

True, good point Jeffrey. And like I said, I totally understand. So probably you won't see me in the next race, sry :/

Hmm, btw, is it possible for me to join in to the race bit late, not taking part to warm-up and qualify? If I could leave a bit early..

YES OLIO. Of course you can join, even if you miss warm up and qualification session.

Olio thanks for understanding the point of better leaving the time fixed.

But hope you can make it for the race!

I would have been happy with a top 5, but the result was not in my control (warps qweqweqwe).

Was 4th after the first laps, i felt comfortable and i was driving smooth. Got an odd warp while coming to a turn, started to turn a bit early and had to correct, but i went in the grass (lost 4th). I fought with Rivolta for a while after (nice battle BTW!) and started to take a little gap. Then turn 1, BAM, biggest warp sent me wayyyyy off into a wall. No chance to improve position. I lost most of my motivation after that, and if it were a 30 lap race, maybe i would have lost 7th.

Maybe i will train for the next race more, rather than just 30 laps before the race (for me, it is not enough..).

Nice race though! Congrats Dede and thanks Jeffrey for hosting. :)

Nah, you wouldn't. Lags would have secured your position

If someone is interested on my race report (=excuses) they can be found from here. Oh, and dede's race report in there too

Hopefully next time the server will be more stable :)

Hi all!!!
I would like to ask jeff and all others members 2 questions about rules:

1) If i am dueling for 1st place (or also for other places) is it allowed to block my opponent??
I asked it to jeff 2 months ago and he told me that it was allowed...but it is just to be sure

2) Is team play allowed?? can 2 memebers of same club (Ippon,GPOR,TSM) make same team tattics??
Let's make a surreal example : can Ippon2-Olio let pass Ippon2-Dede by purpose and block the poor Gigoro Kano??

Regards,
Waz

Re Question 1:

Yes blocking is allowed unless you are not a backmarker. Riders can block the way to other riders if fighting for position.

What is not allowed is blocking drivers when coming out of the sand. Let me explain: if driver A is in front of Driver B, and Driver A makes a mistake and goes in sand. It is trictly prohibited to enter the track and block the way for driver B who is very close. Also worse is that driver A uses driver B as a spring to give him a push forward.

Re Question 2:

Although we have members coming from TSM, GPOR, IPPON etc, there are other players who have no member with them.

And this is an individual cup and not a team cup, in fact we have no constructors or team table. So its better avoid team tactics.

Hope you agree

Argh.. and again I'm unlucky! Tomorrow I'll be playing football from 20:30 to 22:00... with a little luck I could be home around 22:20 circa.. let's just hope it's enough :(

Good luck for the race if I miss it, guys..

OK Jeff, I will try to make it today, what time does it start? Times for me sometimes get mixed up. Give me Finland time if you can.
