I may have some clue :).

You can't make it work in the in-game lists but if you want that your game generate the same kind of HTML lists as the record server makes, change these settings in sliders.ini:

HtmlTopListMode 1
OneForPlayerTopListSize 100
TrackGroupTopListSize 100

What exactly does the html thing do?? Make a html file if the record folder or log folder? How do you direct that to a webpage or something like the ts1.umoco...?

With default settings, the game always generates your local track records to a HTML page. If you installed the game with Windows installer, you can see the page (records/html/index.html) via start menu.

The record server forwards www root -> records to that directory.

Sliders.ini appears in the game intallation directory after you have once started and exited the game (unless you are using automatic server). If you are having problems getting sliders.ini for an automatic server in an environment where you don't have GUI, you can just copy the file from another place where you can start the game normally.

I am not sure if I understand the question :). The game generates html files to records/html and you can't change that. But if you publish it in net, it is up to your HTTP server configuration or ISP what the URL for them will be.
