What is My Cup?

Fairplay racing with F1 cars & fuel

When?

First "Race Weekend" 05.10.2008 Sunday at 22.00 Finland (21.00 Italy, Germany 20.00 UK)
Lag test will be at next sunday 28.9.2008/22.00FIN on my server

How can I join?

All players need to register by posting on this topic (room for 16 players)
Tell your nick & team (players outside of europe may have some lag issues, because cup will be on my server)

Teams?

2 Players in each team, teams are Ferrari, McLaren, Honda, BMW, Toyota, Toro Rosso, Red Bull & Renault (all cars have same speed & cars are F1.06)

Rounds?

1. de_laguna seca 69laps 2. k-GotlandRingFix 62laps 3. -8. (not decided yet) 6 laps qualifying in all tracks (no fuel/ghost: ON)

Fuel settings?

1 800 20 10 20, startfuel can be changed

Points?

25-20-15-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

Rules?

- No Blocking, but you can change your driving line once when someone is trying to overtake you.
- No Pushing
- Do not stop your car on the track if you quit!
- No backwards driving
- If you run out of gas, stay out of the racing line
- Do not drive though the pit without reason
- Do not make any collision while in the pitlane. Take extreme caution while in the pit with other cars
- If you are getting lapped, give enough room to make clean overtake (dont stay on the racing line)
- Shortcuts are not allowed (Race will be recorded)
- You will lost all your points or you get somekind of penalty if you dont follow these rules

Renault: Fernando Al Jannenso & Nelson Miquet
Red Bull: David Squalltard

Felipe Dedassa & Kimi Swosikkonen are in for team Ferrari.

Even though Toro Rosso is quite attractive too (Sebastian Deddel and Sébastien Swosdais)..

It might be a good idea to have a download link for tracks and cars, so that everybody will be able to train (and not just me

I just find & read text about these tracks. Didnt know these tracks will be used in next GPOR-F1 Season, so i may have to change tracks. Dont wanna be rude and use these unless it is ok for Kloijhi. PS. Kloijhi...if you read this, let me know can i use klo_fuji & klo_mugello in my cup...or if someone knows how to contact him so i can ask this personally

Only copied fuel settings from GPOR because those just works so good and some lines of rules because of my bad english...same rules were in My Cup Vol.1 too

True true.. But I'm available to move to Toro Rosso, if you're willing to join

Didn't check those tracks yet, but I remember that some had obstacles close to the track. That means crashes during the race, which makes league less interesting (at least for me). TurboSliders nonghost racing means massive crashing (one car crashes, all cars crash into that one). The GPOR-F1 was something really enjoying and different from the standard TS racing (ok ok, some tracks were still bad). Using tracks without obstacles could be really a good idea.

Lag test tomorrow at 23.00FIN (time changed). I hope i can get full server so i can see how my connection handles it. This test will be like normal "race weekend" because i wanna have better picture how this car/fuel settings works...

Lag test details:

Track: K_Brazilia 62laps + 6 laps qualify
Car: F1.06

Server opens 15 minutes before the qualifying & everyone is welcome...just be fair & have fun!
