Endurance Race Results on Page 2.
i would like to host a 200 lap race on sunday, may 22nd. i dont know which track or car, but i want you to help me decide. if you want to be in the race say so. we will figure out a good time for the race also.

Wow, Mouse! 200 laps is quite a long race... 
Even at minileap, 200 laps equates to a half hour (avg. 10.2/lap)
But I'll participate!
One question: is the plan to have just one race on one server (you)? If so, unless you have a T1 connection, that will only provide for about six players comfortably (lag concerns).
The Indy 500 Tournament we did a couple weeks ago was called a "200 Lap" race, but we broke it into rounds. Round 1, 25 Laps, 6 Drivers, top 2 move on (5 races). Round 2, 75 Laps, 6 Drivers, top 3 move on (2 races). Final Round, 100 Laps, 6 Drivers.
Perhaps a similar structure can be used? That would also allow for multiple servers to be involved.
I've learned over the past few months that most players who participate in "tournaments" or "cups" or whatever you want to call them, don't enjoy such events that take a long time to complete... unless of course, the purpose is endurance.
Either way, I'm in!

i was thinking one race 200 lap endurance. mabye it could be cnanged to 150 laps. we can have 10 - 20 laps of practice, and if lag comes into play, we can split up the feild and have elimnation rounds. i would like to do this on a large track, mabye my square superspeedway with Formula one cars, its big and we wont need ghost racing. it takes about 30 seconds to make on lap, so we would have to have a 100 lap race or lower.

click the link, it will show you a picture of the track. there is 2 versions of it, the square superspeedway, and that combined with a road course. the race can take place on either one, i dont care. it has lots of straights so we would have to use Formula 1 cars. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/ ... ay-pat.png what do you think, wanna race there? its new to all of you so i will open some practice servers. i just need to know, road course, or no road course.
i think you will all like my track, i am going to use the infeild version. i am going to make the track even longer and better now, eliminate some straights and put in some more turns. it will take about 1:30 to make one lap, so it will be a 25 lap race. if you want the race to be shorter or longer tell me. i am putting up a practice server for the track tommaro at 5 PM Eastern Daylight time. http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc use this website to translate time zones so you know what time it will be where you live. also there will be practice before the race on sunday.

how do i pratice with u, I have no idea on how to get to your server. (sorry for my dumb question)
i started a server at 6:00 EST but nobody came to it, so i closed it. after FastEddie's one lap Cup, i will host the Endurance race, there will be practice before it, i will open the server at 3:30 PM EST, if Eddie's cup goes on past 3:30, my server will open right after his closes. 100 LAPS it will be around a half hour long, but thats what endurance is all about.

i am hosting the next endurance race on Saturday May 28th at 2:00 EST. It will be at this track http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/ ... ay-pat.png . since the track is small, it will be a ghost race. average time aroud the track is a bit over 10 seconds. so the race will be 150 laps. i hope that many people will enter. if there is too much lag, it will be split up into 2 servers, then a final server. i could use some help from people to go out and tell people about the race, or to host servers (if needed). i am also going to open a website soon.
