League information is now available in the first post and in the news posted at the website.

The league will start this Sunday (20 September 2009) at 21:00 CET and it will last 8 weeks.

maybe if you read the thread and some more attention to this league only people who sign up are allowed to play you signed up as idk 24-25th so obviously there were 20 people who signed up allready

Well the rules in formula 1 are quite clear. "Give way when you are lapped" is something written everywhere in the servers.

Sorry to all players for accepting him to the race, I won't make similar mistakes in the future.

But I was racing him clean... And he's my teammate, I didn't see what was wrong with that... Are you really gonna do that? I didn't race anyone else like that anyway. I let everyone go... I just thought he'd be fine with it! THAT'S UNFAIR...

Great fun, 14th tho, gotta tune up for the next race!

(My strategy was terrible as well, most people passed me in the pits Q_Q )

Very fun race, I think 6th was the best possible result for me. I was 3 seconds behind Tijny at the end, so If I stop making little mistakes so often, I'll finish on the lead lap. Very nice track, too.

First lap I saw a few drivers flying off, somehow I flew between them, but made a mistake a few turns later and they all re-passed me. From then on... I was in no battles for position. Very straight-forward drive.

Looking forward to next week.

Save server's IP somewhere. Master server is off when qualify starts. We waited you for some time, but then we had to start the qualify session.

practice
bad practice for me, not getting used to 3 curves

quali
in lap 2 or 3 i drove 35,40 (would have been 7th startplace), but i didnt skip the quali with this relative good lap because i had a lack of practice, so: here we go -> 35.2 after 6 laps wasnt a good result, but still okay ->
7th startplace

race (startfuel 76%)
lap 1: due to a warp/lag i flew into the grass (server didnt get a few packages of me steering right in that curve..) and i fall back to 17th (of 19 places) :S ...10 places, that sucks bigtime but it makes the race interesting

-> end of lap 1: place 13 already
lap 2: ended with place 11
lap 3: ended with place 10
lap 4: ended with place 8...so far some little touch, but no big unfairnesses, getting through well
lap 5: ended with place 7
lap 8: place 6
lap 10: place 5
lap 14: place 4 -> unfortunately Burn was making trouble to me and dede in that part, so both of us lost some time :S (he had to give space)...
i hit him accidently and didnt know i was lapping him, so i didnt overtake him..
lap 17: place 3 (fast guys did stops..)
lap 19: place 2..fuel fill 92%
lap 20: coming out of pits as 7th, ending lap as 8th
lap 21: back to 7th
lap 22: place 5
lap 33: unlucky collision with El (lost only a second though)
lap 37: kyyborg is not giving space to Janne and fk's up his 3rd place
lap 38: kyyborg is making life hard for me too..^^
lap 42: unlucky Janne on sand in fast right/left chicane in end, letting fair space to me in my 33.250 lap (with last 2 curves not that good)

Its a great track btw, turn 4 is just like istanbul turn 8, and those chicanes are fun to try and take flat on low fuel.

My online slight niggle is the pit lane exit, thats always gonna cause crashes (as it did with me and someone else coming to lap me), would be better if it skipped the first chicane and came in just before turn 3 imo.

Looks good too btw ^_^

I agree, the track was very nice with low fuel (it was designed for an empty tank so that would make sense), and you're right that the pit exit could've been a lot better. Should've put more thought into that. Oh well, mistakes are to learn from so hopefully it'll be better in next races.

Man, what a fight by dede and Janne, and then Burn ruined it all (but it was fun to me too)

Tijny, you should save all league videos, and put it on forum after every race.

You are saying "i'm right" and "i'm wrong" at the same time.

Anyway i've seen the video and you did worst with other players. Really worst, they were fighting for 1st position.

For dede: I'have noticed another interesting thing. EI seemed to be a really fair player, but after he discovered that pro Rule was off he started to block everybody.
Be careful for next race. Maybe it's better he will race in a league with burn.
Nice job for primoc4 that didn't create any problem (to me).

A nice race. I hope to not finish lapped in all next races.

I didn't have time to watch the whole race again, but maybe I will do it later this week.

Anyway, this league is based on gentlemen rules (that are listed here).
Burn battled with cars lapping him, so he got a ban from the championship.

El and other newbies are now warned as well, so a ban would come in case they keep battling/blocking.

As explained yesterday, these races are official, so if players behave like assholes ruining the races, I might decide to keep the ban for next tournaments/events too. Obviously, permanent ban from all servers hasn't to be excluded either.
