Today I was wondering if I can create my new track "Neo Wangan". For those who don't know what is Wangan, it is actually Japanese for "Bayshore". It is a Shutokou Lane. I want to create the track which resembles Wangan but adding the "Tokyo Rainbow Bridge" element in it.
But when I try to make such track, I ended up with a not understandable error like this:
How to fix this? I already saved that photoshop pat in indexed PNG-8 format but it ended up like that on Track Editor. How to fix it? Please don't ignore this. Thank you.

You probably have the color ID's mixed up. Every terrain has an 'id' which you can find in terrains.ter, and likewise, every color in the pattern file has an 'id' too. Now, for example, areas that are filled with color id 2 in the pattern file, will end up being terrain id 2 in the actual track, in this case tarmac. Remember, the color itself is irrelevant, as long as the color id matches with the terrain you want. Many people make this mistake at first.

do this, in photoshop, open the terrain of a base track, export the color table, then load it into yours
