Since xzeal, Jarno and some other Turbo-GPROers have left our TS-GPRO team/game, we have currently 3 free spots. Obviously it would be nice to have greater Turbo Sliders presentation there, so i'm now asking for you all to join the game and our team.
You can join the team by first sending me (team leader) a private message in GPRO where you state the fact that you actually are TS-driver. After that, send application to our team and I will accept it. only criteria besides being some what active Turbo Slider is that you would be willing to play GPRO actively. At least I'm ready to help with basics of the game once you join.

Done! - Just waiting for you to accept me nowStorm wrote:after u get accepted join the TS team
Can't believe joining a team costs me £3mil straight off though!
Anyway, I've qualified for tomorrow's race ahead of at least 3 other people, so I won't be starting my first race from last position - had no idea at all about fuel strategy though, I just guessed lol

True, the game is explained there. I screwed up my first races because I didn't read documentation carefully. An alternative would be to send all of your questions to xzeal, who will be happy to help you too.Janne wrote:Tip to all new players: read through newbie guide, game rules, and faq. That will really help you.
Even though I'm failing all fuel strategies, I am using a program to save all that data the GPRO Organiser. Enjoy.Janne wrote:And it's important to save at least every race analysis and car wear to learn doing better and better strategies.
Some suggestions for newbies, since I screwed up my season already because of mistakes:
1) do not update your car unless you have high wear
2) it looks like money is more important than getting victories, so don't throw millions away (suggestion nr. 1 is part of this also, since your "old parts" won't remain available for downgrading with same wear as of when you changed them)
I can give more tips, but I don't want that you promote before than me, so figure out by yourself!

That's very true. There's no extra money even if it feels like that after race or two. So spend money only when you really have to or have some other known reason to spend.dede wrote: 1) do not update your car unless you have high wear

I also send some information about drivers to all team members in GPRO.
I've messed up fuel strategy too. I assumed it was compulsory to make all of the pit-stops listed. But now I've realised it isn't.Scud wrote:I made one major mistake allready. Finished both qualifies and im currently on pole BUT i didnt remember that i will start race with same fuel as i used in Q2... Which was 10!!!
I did read that it usually doesn't take more than 280 fuel for a race, so my 5-stops only takes it to 300, meaning that I do actually have to make all of them...
Something tells me that a 5-stop strategy may not be the quickest option
It's wet race, so fuel consumption is lower than expected. Probably you can make it in 3 pits or 4.iBlaze² wrote:I did read that it usually doesn't take more than 280 fuel for a race, so my 5-stops only takes it to 300, meaning that I do actually have to make all of them...
Check fuel consumption in track data anyway
Did you use high risks in the race? If you didn't, you were just unlucky.Scud wrote:My engine wear was 95% so i needed new one. Or was that mistake?Janne wrote:That's very true. After you are approved, first send a PM to team leader (Chris/Kova), so he knows that you are a TS player and then send application to the team.
