"voleyball" and a track to play "get-get"
my first idea is a track to play get-get (I'm really not sure if it's correct), many of brazilians players like, and then i thought in export this map
the rules, only 1 person will run 2 laps in the track while the rest will jump the ramps, when the one who is getting completes 2 laps, he jumps the ramp and run after the other to disable then (non-ghost and PRO modes required)
the first got will get in the next game, and the last one wins this round
LINK
the name is in portuguese, but ok

seconde idea is a mix of punaball with voleyball, i named voleyball hehehehhe
is 2 parts, and 2 ramps in the middle, you can play whit antislider and a ball too.
only 3 touchs is allowed (but if u prefer 5, 10, 20, etc =Þ), and you have to hit the ball to pass the ramp to the other field , and then the other team have to hit back, and so on
the ball cant cruze the lines, if the ball exits the lines will be point for the other team
the field is a little big to the normal cameras, so it should be a judge or someone in the ball's view to judge
version 1.1

When i connected the MANDBALL server i was surprised, the track looked almost like my tennis track.
But instead i had no jumps at the bottom and the top.
I had some 2 basic thoughts of kind tennis games there too, which are maybe a bit equal. And to call it tennis though is hard...
Track:
rectangle field, in the middle 2 jump rows, so a ball could be shooten over the "net". In the real middle there is depending on the track type: no net (jumpsrows are next to each others) OR there is a wall, a net, between the jumprows, depending on the skill or based on experience the net is xy pixels away from each jumprow.
One game with this tennisfield (with horizontal wall limit at jumprow ending) was just to shoot the ball with no ballcollision limit just to the other side and a score would be, if the ball is passing the goal checkline which describes the height of the field (height of the jumprows).
This is solutable with Ballgame (or PunaBall) Support.
Another version would be more like tennis:
only 1 car ball collision is possible and there MUST be a net which has more hieght than the jumprows on each vertical side...or at least a vertical wall starting at the top of the jumprows and one at the bottom of the jumprows. A normal score would be if the ball is overcrossing the fieldlines or as variant only when the ball does not pass the net - in both cases it can be played with walls around the playing field lines or not and if players want, they may use the wall to kick the ball against, what would cause different types of that kind tennis.

i save this and write later to the end, before i loose my post here when PC crashs
and what do u think about the other idea? here the people liked
Well, your track includes some landscape around, which i haven't thought of yet...xD i thought that would be a new idea, but ok, i didnt know u had already made a track like this

Concerning the ideas...i think i am not the only one who thought of some/many ballgame systems yet. Some newer tennis version, i thought first of, after knowing about coming PunaBall/Ballgame Support.
Some Ballgame ideas came though already very soon in 2004 and some i had soon after knowing for sure there will be jumps and bridges etc. (since i was not sure before, the most jump-based ballgames ideas i had after knowing jumps will be implemented soon).
But...since i am too lazy/busy to create and test the tracks to my ideas/concepts and paintings on my paperblocks, it's actually free for all to cover or use my thoughts, since it's a free right in this case in my opinion in some special way. So, if someone likes to know if i have a concept to a ballgame xy, just tell me. I remember i even mentioned some of them in one post somewhere in this forum. Maybe a search of basketball or rugby will show it.
Your idea with 3 ball contacts is like...well, i do only know the german word for it. But i thought about it, but found that only 1 contact might be better.
But since i have not tested it, i do not know if 3 contacts would be more fun to everyone.
is not exactly a rule 3 contacts, is only a sugestion, i already played with 1, 3, unlimited, is only to have fun heheheMike Nike wrote:Well, your track includes some landscape around, which i haven't thought of yet...xD i thought that would be a new idea, but ok, i didnt know u had already made a track like this
