It was more or less the expected place although i had 1 lag when i was 3rd and then after some overtaking i ended up 5th.
And when i started my 2nd stint with badeend about 5sec ahead and pingu some 5sec behind, theni tried to reach badeend but he was rather quick, which took me to exagerate to catch up and that was equal to some mistakes and i settled for 5th.

Luckily I needed a very fast surgery. I entered the hospital on thursday night, got the surgery at friday night and came back home at sunday afternoon!shyguy1001 wrote:I had it. My surgery was delayed by two weeks
Good that the race was cancelled: there were internet troubles, so I wouldn't have been able to show up anyway.
Any feedback about [xS]Respect? I know he is not a newbie, but I don't really know if he is a "good" player.

For practice and out of interest, I decided to do a simulation of the wokkelring GP for myself. While I know that due to lack of lag and other people on the racetrack this wouldnt be at all a fair way of finding what sort of pace I would of had in the race, I was interested anyway.
Practice one went ok, in low fuel settings with a practiced pitstop managed a 43.383.
Practice two, a few mistakes, but managed to get a 42.704 and three laps within the 42.7-.9 range, so good signs in terms of consistency.
I decided to go for a two stop strategy, and start qualifying on 54% aiming to drive 8 laps. I ended with a 43.126 and 33% fuel, which would of being enough for 4th on the grid on the day.. even if I would of been the lowest fueled along with peto and reirom, it would of still made me very happy
My race performance was ruined by some poor pitstop errors... on the second pit I missed it altogether and had to drive backwards into pit, losing a lot of time, and I calculated fuel as one lap two less and had to make a 10 or so second pit stop on the final lap
I made a few driver errors, but overall I was very happy with my constancy. My overall race time was 26:38.108, fl 42.272. I was dissapointed with this, as I think without those crucial pit stop errors and a large error on lap one and somewhere in the middle of the race (where I must of lost 3,4,5 seconds going wide at a corner and taking ages to get back on because of the nature of it) I could of completed somewhere close/slightly better than pingu's time. That would of made me very happy indeed.. especially since I still have a throat infection, which is ruining my constancy with constant coughing. Hopefully I will be able to make a repeat performance without the mistakes on sunday
