MUSIC (suggestios)
Ok, new topic for all kind of cool music. Please suggest some good music that is typical for your own country as well. It doesn't has to be popular. You can use YouTube, share address(URL) or direct link for download(mp3 if can).
I just listened these:

This is honestly the best song I've ever heard [on the page, click on the little Flash player to start the song].

Hah, I like to listen music while playing TS too (during the wanking mostly). But I never did that in some oficial cup because of the same reason as you said. It could be good to use it in Full Contact maybe too. Frank Sinatra and Full Contact, perfect.Mike Nike wrote:the track whiplash by metallica was nice while driving a slider race vs canadian...though i suck if i dont hear the turbo sliders car sounds..

I rarely play with TS sound on, because I used to play in the night with sister sleeping in same room. The sound can be helpful when wanking or when driving serious cups. I was used to enable car sound in cups such as IRT or IHLC, and also in some races of the F1. Lately I keep playing with music on, though, and the result is quite niceMike Nike wrote:though i suck if i dont hear the turbo sliders car sounds..
if you hear the remote car sounds and want to drive a fast lap, it happens that you dont see and dont hear that your own car just slowed down while driving slightly over sand or grass in a curve and already messed up the lap...
or you just miss an acceleration or braking point, you are usually getting sorta perfect, if you just listen to the sound of your car engine

Before I begin, let me just say: listen to Maiden. The best metal band of all time, listen to them.
As a person who is always searching for and buying new music, when a thread like this comes around I want to post a ton of bands... but I'll try to hold back a bit and only post a few of my favorites...
Band - Song - Album
Opeth - The Drapery Falls - Blackwater Park
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvLn8j4c5l4
Amazing progressive metal band from Sweden. Mikael Akerfeldt is among my top 5 vocalists, beautiful singing voice, and the best growl in metal history. They create a sound no other band can, it pulls you into a dark world and makes you feel haunted by sound. Check out their Blackwater Park album, as I feel it's their best (I own all 9) and diverse.
Dream Theater - Metropolis part 1 - Images and Words
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r28LLqyXBKs (NOTE THIS IS A COVER, but the best, most perfect cover I have ever heard)
Prog Metal band from east coast USA. These guys do things everyone else can only do in their dreams. They're all virtuosos with their instruments, and you hear it on all of their albums. Songs are composed beautifully and give chills all the time. Check out their albums; Images and Words, Awake and Metropolis Part 2: Scenes from a Memory. Amazing live band also, what you hear on their CD is what you hear them play on stage... perfectly.
Between the Buried and Me - White Walls - Colors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZQUQjL6s7Y
Another progressive metal band from east coast USA. These guys are much more intense than most people can handle, but once you learn to stop hating harsh vocals, you hear music that can blow your mind. These guys are often called "instrument wankers" because of how many solos, riffs, drum fills, time signature changes ect... are packed into a single song. They can be grinding a riff on top of thundering double bass, and all of a sudden they turn into a bluegrass band. What the f***? Yeah, crazy stuff, but amazing. Another band where everyone can play their instruments to perfection, and like to display it. These guys are great live too, intense shows and music is play flawlessly. Listen to their album Colors.
Here are a few videos I took from a show January 29th (check my channel for more):
Between the Buried and Me - White Walls - Colors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueYVxPENoJg
Between the Buried and Me - Swim to the Moon - The Great Misdirect
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNiZFuPpC64
That was a long post...
I'll share more later if you guys like.
