Oh, kaps, you're an idiot.
I managed to drive 11th laptime in quali, so I was quite satisfied(still, I know I could've driven faster), but then, just before the race, I messed up with my starting fuel. Eventually, I started with 20% and had to pit on the 2nd lap. Of course, everybody managed to catch up with me and so my race was over.
Anyway, thanks for the race and see you next Sunday :)

PS: I hope I wasn't too rough.

19th is not where kapa is supposed to be

Hehe since iam a replay watcher I think Janne made a mistake and braked to late for pits so he missed it and had to reverse X-D.

I didn't notice, but anyway if you last one lap longer than your opponent and you drive a quick lap, you gain at least 1 second on him since he has to do the lap with full tank. If both cars refuel the same amount, the one who drove one more lap will have bigger margin after the pit.

Yeah indeed thats quite a big difference

Ps. No refueling, thats another reason F1 nowadays sucks more :-(. But with the comeback of Schumi its also cool :D

I had a lot of fun in that race.
I had only a few mishaps with Jurgen and Hevonen but I'm not really going to complain because they were minor.

Overall, Congrats dede! and I hope to race again next week!

Not even close Jurgen. You full on blocked me, we can check the video if you like? Do you ever stop complaining?

I just watched the incident, and I can't help but notice that your deliberate attempt at wrecking Jurgen is far more severe than him accidentally blocking you.

Just to be clear you are allowed to change your driving line one time right? So if someone comes faster out of a corner then you you can go to the inside of the next corner? But if the other goes to the outside you can't move back since then it's really blocking?

Hmm, I guess not. You can change your driving line as many times as you want. But you are not alowed to touch another car. If someone is right behind of you and faster then you, you have to let him pass and not to change your line. If you change your line and he touches you because of that, you have to let him pass.
So, no fast and sudden moves.
Otherwise, I would allways wait to use that 1 line changing just before the every curve and block or hit another car, and nobody coud say that it was blocking.
That F1 rule can't be part of AL, even I would like it in case that all players could be gentle. But last race showes different picture. :)
That woud be perfect if that 1 line changing can't be suddenly made by deffender.

And, please, can I get the video?

I believe you can change your line even if the car behind you has better speed, as long as your opponent has the time to change his line in order not to touch your car. Basically you can take inner line on a straight in order to defend your position at next curve. Changing line more than one time isn't forbidden, but I would avoid doing that move. Just take a line and give your opponent the chance to attack you using a different line.

Edit: race video is now available.

So doing the 'Hamilton swerve' isn't forbidden, but frowned upon - sweet :)

It was a fun race, I'm happy to see I have not lost the ability to drive my all-time favorite car. :)

Anyway, Burn, try not to cut in front of people if they have a run coming out of a corner. You did it to me a few times early on, I kind of pushed you out of the way after a few blocks, sorry if it was a tad rough, but you were holding me up big time.

If someone is lets say 0,2 or 0,3 faster then me per lap (and so "i hold him up") and Iam in front of him that doesn't have to say i have to let him pass right lol... He should fight for his pos and you won't have to go off your line for him right? :?

Well, I just don't feel right blocking other players. If someone is on my rear bumper after every corner, I try to make way for them. It's just common decency. If you continue to hold someone up, it will lead to mutual annoyance and that's never good. Don't forget that overtaking cleanly is sheer impossible with AntiSlider.

Yes, but that is where pit stop strategy comes in. Look to Schumacher he "pwnt" Button so hard in the last race that in the last laps he just gave up overtaking Schumacher.

Of course you can fight for position, but there is a point where it turns a bit unfair. If someone is bumping you from behind constantly, it's nice to give some room rather than throwing your car in the way constantly.

It's not a rule, it's a gentleman's rule.

My way of thinking is this: If someone is physically preventing me from passing, I'm going to physically move him out of my way. Naturally, if it's a close battle, I'll be clean, but if I'm obviously faster I'll probably push a bit.

Is there a sliding entry list for this like F1? Just wanted to know as it appears there is no way I can take part in the race tommorow either, as my computer is still in quality control.

Mouse, I'm really sorry about the blocking. I'm going to try to fix that next race! Thank you for pointing it out by the way. I do see Pingu's point though...

Ok, I took a decision about superpole. Taking shortcuts or driving backwards in the superpole session will be punished with a penalty of 5 positions on final standings.

What about if you have to drive a lap back to the pits on no fuel is this allowed? All those slow cars could be a problem. Perhaps it should be more F1 style where you just do outlap, laps, and inlap. Maybe on the final lap of the session it is possible for you to run on lowest fuel possible, adding more pressure if you cannot do it before then..

Sure, you can drive the whole lap with no fuel. This isn't dangerous since ghost is on.
