Sorry to leave server in the beginning of the second race, but I was having no fun at all. I was (am) tired and I didn't like the track, really. I appreciate lux effort and everything, but I thought it was too long and didn't enjoy the weird zigzags particularly. Just not fun to drive. Also, I thought the wet race was not a good idea. Everybody else seemed very pleased with everything and I surely can't do anything better track-wise, so I guess that's what matters. Just my opinion really.

As for the first race, I'd rather not even comment on it. I had no fun while playing and played like shit. LOL.

hehe pom, i remember that you were the only one who liked my first track that was (and is) longer than this.
Where is the difference in this? Maybe that you cannot wank it for ages? Hehe

Anyway I liked a lot the dry/wet race.

Beside the track shape, I know the track tile was worst than usual tijny tracks, but I would love to know if it was good enough.

Anyway - trying to not make an extremely pissed off post here.

So a short summary about racing in rain without any practice at all (personally never even raced on wet tarmac):

It sucked like a 2 dollar hooker. Pileups are not fun and fair racing flys out of the window. Next time I am not even going to bother if I dont know how the car handles before the race.

Good Track Lux!

Was fun racing today, i was flying

1st Was Fine! Totally awesome Overtaking Mister Pom!!!, he was f***ing Slow
Except my 2sec Disconnection

2nd Race!!!

Wow, Pure Fun, Many mistakes, many overtakes, Good turns, and Bad one's
For me 2nd race had all.

nice racing!

awesome result! 2nd and 3th auhehauehuehauahueh!
quali was not good at all, could not get 1 good lap, still 4th!

race 1 started good janne was sleeping and i could immediately get 2nd position! race was very smooth, not many mistakes but lux catched me! he was strong and for a few laps he was able to push away a bit but 3 laps befor finish i catched him again due to mistake! somehow i was scared that i f*** up last corner because i saw, that he was much faster on it, that made me driving so slow that he almost got me! nice lux

race 2 was also good but started bad, crashed into etmil who kissed the wall in front of me!

after that i started to gain position after position until i came to arjen who made a strong race! i saw that i am 4th and that dede and janne are already miles away!

i tried to catch arjen wich i could after a few laps! 1 lap was total mess i saw a lot of crashes! but i think it will be better next time when both races are dry!

still i have to say that i love the rain!

@jay: man your freaking fast!

if you race like you do the stats you will be unbeatable!

Warmup
All I wanted to do was to learn the track. I didn't manage to drive on the edge, but I obtained a good safe line for qualify.

Qualify
10 laps, time to find the fast line.. I didn't manage to drive perfect lap, but at least I learnt the track and got a fast line

First place, woop!

Race #1
I was a bit worried when I saw Janne with 22% fuel in second position, while I was starting with 60%. I actually expected to battle for second position in both races, but when I ran away from Janne&Lanz&lux I started to hope for a double victory! Janne had cat-problems in first race, wictory came

Race #2
My aim was not to lose too much from race leader. I knew Janne was going to start from first positions with low fuel, but rain makes me faster! I had great overtakings in the middle of the group, without hitting anybody.. Some others got wrecked or piled up, so I found myself in third position already at first lap. We had a close battle with Janne, but after a while I managed to run away again.

Other Comments
Last week's races were funnier for me, because they were harder. I loved to play one race in the rain and the other on complete dry conditions. But probably it was a way too big bet for the league, since some players never tried the rain. Probably using rain track for warmup+quali+race1 and dry track on race2 would've worked better.
Excellent track by lux! Long & different from other F1 tracks. Great job!

Looking forward to next race!

It's nice you didn't take it personally, man. Like I said, I appreciate the work you put into the track. I respect you a lot. No intention of discouraging trackmaking whatsoever. It's just not my kind of track, in particular. Wet doesn't do it for me as well. Like I said, people liked it and that's what matters, not what one guy thinks.

I do like unreleased tracks. Like I say, it's like opening a present. Sometimes you might not enjoy your present though. That doesn't say anything about the track itself, but about me. I was indeed tired and in a bad mood and that reflected in the race.

You're probably right. I am most likely better when I have time to wank the tracks. I think changing my zoom might help me. I use 0.9 now and I had to guess what the next curve was going to be, kind of.

I will try to be in a better mood for next race. Normally I would chase Arjen like a maniac but after he took some distance I just kind of didn't care.

yeah you probably am right! i was thinking that if people already know the track in dry its not that hard anymore in rain!

Some Games apply this rule :

Maybe if Someone does not make 50% of the race may be disqualified

what im remember is that pom quited immediately after start! popo was driving way more laps! so jay give popo 1 point more, they got both 4 points in 2nd race!

Actually, I do statistics in break between races

But they are on my USB (on laptop) while we drove (on PC)

So ... If someone wants to know stats in break, just shout then

Ok, so what about drivers who resign (retired) during the race?

Half points?
Points depend on driven laps (at least 50% race to get full points; or for example: 3/15 laps = 20% race = 20% points)?

Or smth like that?

It makes no sense giving me any points really just because I started. I didn't even complete a lap. I was not in the mood. 0 points would be okay, really.

I think more than 50 % = Full Points
less than 50 % = No points

nah let us just stick with that how it is now! maybe for next cup we could introduce a 10% rule like it was or is in F1 quali! if drivers were more then 10% slower then the best lap they couldnt participate in race!
but of course we would introduce it only for races, since i dont like to see people quit! 10% of 20laps=2laps so you have to drive 18 laps to get full points! i think that would work since races are only 15 min long!
