Predictive Camera yes/no

i lately found out that whiplash is playing without predictive camera, just like in ts 0.86 and he told me tijny and dede would do the same, which kinda suprised me and it surprised whip as well that i play with pred. camera...so, i got curious about fast players video settings and if they drive with or without pred. cam etc.

mine:

pred. cam: yes
monitor: widescreen (with black borders at left and right side, so actually no widescreen ingame

i use predictive camera mostly in long races especially if i don't know them with 0.8 zoom, which kinda help's me figure the next turn.
when it comes to short i kinda let on/off it cause it is useless

When starting out in TS I never knew of predictive camera. My zoom has always been quite high (as compared to other drivers here), so instead of the default 1.0 or 1.2 - don't know what it is exactly - my zoom is 1.4. In the beginning I always lost time in all turns because I couldn't see them coming and so when I found out about predictive camera, it immediately felt better for me and so I've sticked with it. Works great. I'm surprised to hear most top players don't use it..

i tried once just for shits n giggles and it was a horrible experience... not something I'm willing to get used to when I do just fine with it off.

Predictive camera was useful when I had 19'' screen and 1.0 zoom, in races such as JJT where you had to drive on unreleased tracks without any training. With Speeder I was used to drive with predictive camera on in first lap, switching it off for next laps.

Now I'm driving with 21'' screen and 0.9 resolution, I don't use predictive camera anymore except for mods such as infiltration or similar..

I only tried pred. cam a couple of times and never had the courage to use it again, it makes my head feel bad.

So, always without it.
