Would you also like them if he were +1 lap? :P

That was the case with my latest track.. fastest lap with TSE-F1 was something like 51.5xx.. with F1-Premium it's down in 53.3xx or something. I think it's due to the fact that this car doesn't steer as much, normally fast sectors become slower, slow turns become even MOAR slower. Acceleration seems just fine and so is braking, surprisingly. I haven't compared the settings in the car file, though. Anyway, the image file is also nice.. only seems a bit bigger when compared to last car?

That's odd. If you look at the F1 league practice server, most recordeds there are very much comparable to TSE-F1 times: a few tenths slower at the very most, if that. Anyway, raw steering of the new car is actually better, but the engineers totes neglected the downforce, making it handle worse at high speeds. Slow corners should actually be just as fast or faster, also due to increased acceleration. So, I'm guessing your track is pretty fast. :P

Lanz wrote this in other forum topic:
"good news for me! new car is not shaking anymore and thats why i really like it! good job guys!"

I'm just informed that this problem arrived for one other player now (Shaytun). :)
That's kinda weird shit. Tijny changed .img default dimensions to 5120x80 and get it to work nicely for Lanz by that I guess, but some PCs, graphic cards (or monitors maybe) just can't produce it well. Funny thing is that Lanz could play normally with all default cars and not with F1-TSE which all have the same dimensions.
I wonder if 7680x120 would work finally good for all. :)
Tijny, maybe you could create F1-Premium2 and put it together with F1-Premium on the practice server so that people can see which one is more suitable? I'm not sure if that's perfect idea, but it's better than see more people arrive with the same problem in near future.
So many shaking bitches around here these last years.

If it's just Setjan with this problem, I would say the most logical thing to do would be for him to revert to the old image by changing the .car file for himself. If there are more people with the same issue though, I'd like to hear it and I'll see if there's anything we can do about it.

So, the line for image dimensions in .car file isn't part of the car hash? He can put whatever he wants there? I thought it's not like that.

Nope, why would it be part of the car hash? It doesn't affect how the car behaves..

New car sucks, the longer brakeing is nice!, the loose of grip sucks, and will result in more crashes! You cant be next to an other guy anymore without hitting him!!!!!!!

Raceing will be bad with this car!

Stop this madness!

hmm..long story short..i guess i dont have that effect - just tested with tsb-f2, tse-f1, tse-f1beta2c, f1-premium, gpor-form1...in booleantis..and basicly i had the same shaking with every car.
probably with slightly slower cars, premium and form1 compared to tse-f1 it appeared to be a slightly higher shake effect, but cant tell for sure.

anyway, this kind of shaking i have, i think, is just the normal effect if you drive with 1) low fps or 2) with good fps in high speed (then though tse-f1 should maybe appear be more shaky though lol) - i drove with 50 fps stable, i think.
in some tracks in some curves i have problems with my timing due to the car jumping from position xy to another instead of driving smooth like if fps would be infinity...
in a few big tracks, trying to find the right braking point in high speed, with low resolution and high zoom compared to tijnys settings, i sometimes think to myself that my eyes are just not as good and or that its a thingy of getting used to the gfx settings.
i mean..driving in 0.7-0.9 with 1920x... or so, all is so freaking tiny lol, timing feels so hard...while in 1.0 with 800x600 stone age settings are just way more friendly to me^^

well im sure that i didn´t drove all the cars existing for TS but i know that the only 2 cars that i had those problems with were the TSE-F1 and one of previous versions! im not sure anymore how it was called but a lot of others had the same issue, thats why it got changed soon!(beta-2b!?maybe!?)
anyway what i found out now during driving in the test server, that the same issue appeared on one of Etmils tracks! at least to me! dont know if its actually the same problem/issue but Trecciron is shaking like hell when im on it! also im not sure if its appeared now or if it was like this all the time before! could be that it never really sticked out to me because of the crazy shaking car! when im driving the old car now i really keep asking myself how i was able to drive it anyway! any suggestions what can cause that, its only Trecciron!

Now I know why you and Dede are so fast I wonder what Tijny plays on?

I also play on 1920 at zoom 0.9. Maybe thats why I think iam better when there is lots of traffic around, in fc server or just a race. Because you see way more what is happening around you

well..i tried playing 1680x1050 - my current max resolution - in 0.6-0.9.
when i put off predictive cam i seriously got some kinda dazed lol...like woah *driving carrussel, turning 10 times fast around myself, rdy to puke*^^
anyway, in 0.7-0.9 with the unused widescreen i sucked less than i used to...

so, couple laps driven in 0.6-0.7 - felt kinda too tiny...
0.8 and 0.9 i still could not hit some corners perfectly because all is so tiny..but that seemed to be made up a little bit by the fact i could see curves coming earlier. in some larger tracks it felt like an advantage and i was also able to drive many laps in a row in the 0.2 sec to rec zone.
and the first laprec came relative early... with quite some more coming..eh..13 laprecs in ~43 races in total says the log

Lanz, did you ever tried to change video settings? Change driver to SDL, OpenGl... Maybe that will make some changes. Also try to use different resolution and zoom.
For example, I had one really hardly noticed improvement changing zoom manually in the sliders.ini file. When I'm using zoom (PreferredScale) 0.950000, it's a little smoother than default zoom 1.000000. Maybe that will make bigger change on your PC.

You just did. :)
dede will add you on the list. Now just fallow the forum and you will know all news you need.
For now, the most important is that the first test race is planned for Sunday 21st October @ 20:00 CET.

Ok, thank you. A thought, but with 30 players on a server there will be lag problems?

If enough join, I imagine there will be rookie race and pro race, so two races.

Yep, and another solution will be that qualifications be organized on 2 combined servers. 20 drivers with the best lap times will drive the race, others will cry. :)
Notice that 20 is max number of drivers on the track.

i had to delete the track in my tracks folder and redownloaded it from server.
then i drove a rec and due to 800pts it seemed i was the only one in the recordlist.
