5. 5+0 goals, 4-4 = draw

8. 6+2 goals, 6-0..6-4 = 3pts, 7-5, 8-6... = 2 pts for winner and 1 pt for loser

For me, it's either 7 or 9, with a slight preference for 7. 6 and 8 are almost ok.

It definitely should be goal based because it raises the quality and enjoyability of the game a lot and we don't need strict time limits for organizational purposes. I think 7, 9 and 10 are the best, probably 8 too. The advantage of 8 is that it would be a bit shorter so if every group plays 3 games in one meeting, we can always assume that they get it played in under an hour.

One possibility is to have shorter (type 6 or 8 ) games in early stages and longer (type 7, 9 or 10) games in semi-finals and finals.

crap, i added Reiroms idea (which i think is a nice one!) and updated the poll with a 10th option.
me newb didn't know it would reset the vote -.- (i only remember the first options weren't taken often and option 9 was the most chosen one (4))

Yeah Reirom's idea is great because then a match in which the other team is a lot stronger, the weaker team can always get a point by getting 7 goals.
