Punaball Champions League - The Final/3rd Place Game Topic

So, originally I planned knockout stages to be 2 legged games, but then the final to be a single game. However, after seeing the success of the 2 legged ties, and how games can still be close over that amount of time, I will allow a vote from the 4 participating finalists on whether or not they would like 2 legs. If 3 say they do, we'll play 2 legs. So, make your case! Which would you prefer?

Also, I wanna know if Arsenal/Barca would like to play a 3rd place game.

Even twenty minutes is very much on the short side I'd say, ten minutes would just be utterly ridiculous. Two legs would be much better.

As for the loser final, I'm open-minded about it. If all are up for it, I won't say no.

Ok, it's settled, both loser final (lol) and Final will be played 2x2x5 minutes, like the semi/quarter finals. But like the semi finals, the games will be played one after another, all on one night.

Right after final and 3rd place game shygay and other public will elect the best 4 players out of 8 to play a super cup. Teams can be mixed!

Ok, then its set. Sunday 21:00 for the grand final of this competetion. It was ambitious, things went right and wrong.. next edition will surely run better. I have 5 videos now. Still can't f*** upload a single one. Theres something wrong with my upload speed on my net cos when I try to send it to someone on skype, also it doesn't work. I have no idea whats gone wrong, I guess some PC specialists on here might have a clue? It's certainly related to my overall internet being so slow though right?

Anyway, to confirm, Sunday 21:00 for the final. And for the 3rd place game too, if those guys can show up and want to play it. I'll try to be online hours in advance so we can maybe run that. It could be a grand event!

Well, if possible you can play at 22:00 but I could be gone to work by then. I'll get on server to monitor things in about 5 minutes.

I'm off to sleep as Fama said he's only available on the afternoon. I'm not really up for this anymore as I have too much things to emotionally take care of right now and the last thing I want at the moment is to wait for a game that most probably won't happen anyway.

Hmm, I told shy that would be almost impossible to play within scheduled time. I would suggest tomorrow at 21:00 but since jan is not available in the next few days and I don't know yet how is palo or luka's availability, maybe it's better to follow shyguy's suggestion - when he manage to upload his videos, we can complete this tournament, maybe with the game being live broadcasted on youtube or something else.

It'd be a shame not to finish this cup. Waiting for the videos may be a good idea though. ^^

The final was played yesterday. Luka, Jan, Palo and I agreed to play the game, because it was almost impossible to play until the end of the civil year and ESPECIALLY because we felt that with the videos not coming out, this game had to be done. With that said, the score of the Punaball Champions League Final, played in 4 halves of 5 minutes (2 legs) was the following:

I don't quite remember the scores of each half (I think it was something like W-W-W(for benfica)-D)but the 2 spectators that oversaw the match, Tijny and Mike Nike, can provide Shyguy full scores and also the vídeos.

It was a pleasure to play this cup, thanks everyone involved, especially shyguy. I would prefer to give my feedback about this cup only after Shyguy (will he?) publish his vídeos. Oh well, if you publish something within the next few days, I will only say GOOD things about this cup...
