Hey everyone! Jollygood Games just released something for absolutely free! It's a xmas game called
Jollygood XMAS. Go ahead and take a look:
http://www.jollygoodgames.com/xmas/top.htm
I'm posting this here for a special reason - the music in the game is made by Ande - the famous creator of Turbo Sliders! Go ahead and check it out, the music is super cool and the game is a lot of fun. To add to the excitement there's also an online highscore list!
Please tell everyone about this game! Your friends, co-workers, family... it's totally free and will always be, so all we ask is that you share the joy!
Happy Holidays!

You know, I wrote that game so I should know how it works... but I have no idea how MikeNike gets those scores! I'm getting barely to the top 20!
Thanks for your nice feedback!

No# Score Level Player Nation Date
1 776480 7 Mike Nike Germany 2005-12-22
2 111160 12 Mike Nike Germany 2005-12-21
3 96900 17 colt Finland 2005-12-22
Jani, what happened to the list?
Some entries are lost and the 1st place data (and maybe other entries) are wrong.
The level was 17, like you got to know in my email, too.

Hi Mike,
no entries are lost, but since you occupied nearly the entire top 20 we made it so that each name/ip pair will only get one entry in the actual list. You can click the name to see all scores.
I don't actually know what happened to that level information. The webmaster must have made a mistake somewhere. I will fix it manually to the database... do you see other errors in the scores?

Oh... you know, there actually seems to be a bug in the list displaying code. It seems it's not showing the level of the top score. Perhaps it's the level of the latest score or something... in any case if you click the name you get the list of all your scores and the level is displayed correctly there.
Unfortunately it'll take until Monday to get this fixed... thanks for pointing it out!

In my email to you i forgot to mention a nervy other problem:
If you have got no mouse or disabled the mouse: how can you start a new game with the keyboard only?
And how to get into the setup then?
I started playing only with the keyboard...
but later the mouse on my table moved accidenlty a little bit, which was fatal for the game: the gift went to the row where the mouse was pointing to.
Due to that controlproblem i lost many good chances to nice scores and some nerves...
Then i started playing with the mouse and actually that went better in some situations (although it happened few times that the gift went to another row accidently somehow).
..it took a while until i got used to the mouse control.
So: controls as options in the setup would be nice.

It's just a minigame, not a life
Mike should try some outdoor activities and sports. That many top scores means that way too much time spent indoors

Erm... that's a good question. I suppose you can only play unitl the game is over and then hit esc until you get to a new game. A design bug, definitely.

You lost your chances to nice scores? You? Did you check the highscore list lately?

I agree. A good idea, though I don't know if I have a chance to do that this weekend. If I get a moment I'll make a new version and post a new build...
