I'm affraid I started that. I Completely lost my braking point reference there In the mayhem of the 1st lap and overshot the corner bit time. In the process I touched Gol that in turn touched Dede and left both out of the track. I let Gol recover in front of me but Dede was already back on track and going, so nothing else i could do to repair the damage. Sorry to both of them and now I got my first points to my driver's license

In a nutshell, this is a great format! Well done to everyone.

Yeah I agree, for a guy who is in love with Formula 1 and usually played all F1 Games racing full track laps this cup is a orgasm. So thank you to all the Admins behind it 'cause I really had fun during the race, even if my too fairy attitude made me lose 6-7 positions at start which was a madness for real I also had some struggles with Bruno (amazing lap 9 haha) and I totally failed a braking point smashing into poor Power, but at least I gave him position back losing those 3-4 secs waiting for him :p Great final with a thriller 4-cars ending, Will's brainlag cost him his 10th place haha. I didn't get what happened to Silva tho, if I'm not wrong he pitted twice in last 6-7 laps.

Guys, there's no possibility to see lap by lap times somehow? I was proud of my sequence in the middle part of the race and I would like to compare it with other drivers but I dunno if it is possible to do it without watching full replay.

Normally it does, but you can enable permanent logging in Settings / Statistics. (Incidentally, I really think this should have been the default behavior.)

I thought I was safe from Carlos and Power79 on the last 5 or so of laps because although they were faster than me at that point they were fighting each other and costing time in the process, but in the last lap, carlos started to really gain time on me and i started to push again only to find out my tyres had no life on them, and I ended up slightly off the track, enought for Carlos to pass me. Furious me, because it was one more corner to end the race, I tried to get a super amazing exit throught the final corner of the final lap to get the place back and... ended up off the track again, just enough to Power79 to overtake me with a nose lenght ahead as we crossed the line

Fantastic race and amazingly organized tournament atm, i'm having so much fun even in the qualifies where i suck (not that in race i'm fast). Unfortunately I just can't connect with these cars, I don't know what am i doing wrong but i reckon i could just improve slightly because i lack of concentration even in a single lap, try to figure in an entire race

I'm craving for a FC-F1 hybrid, with F1 tracks, antisliders and FC rules...but i guess it's just utopia

Good race! I'm extremely happy with my final position bur I'm not happy about how the race went in first laps. I ended up pushed/pushing a couple of times, sorry to whoever I damaged in those situations, it wasn't intentional, I was struggling to keep the car on track

Looking forward to next races, hoping to improve with the car and maybe battle for top 5 (hmm ok that's too much!).

I made a tsr from last laps of race for positions 10-13 if someone happens to be interested. I cut out all other drivers with my tool so it is easier to follow. File is not completely compatible with Turbo Sliders probably because of changes in new version or possible bugs in my program but it still plays just fine.

What I made today is a WEBPAGE that lets you walk through the race standings lap by lap, kind of inspired by Carlos' request to see everyone's laptimes. It's a work in progress at this point, I want to add more features/stats/charts/whatever to it in order to facilitate direct comparisons between two (or perhaps more) drivers. O man, I was just about to ask you for something like this, but I was afraid that you will scream if I ask for anything else after the amazing live stats. I wish I could replace the current standings made by stummihouse by that one. I hope it'll allow combining multiple races for a general cup standings too (with pts etc.). Thank you, but the technical aspect is not a problem for me. It would be relatively straightforward to display a chart according to the time gaps between all the players (I have done this many times before), but it quickly becomes a bit of a mishmash and I was hoping there might be a cleaner solution. But I suppose it will be manageable if I implement some mechanism to conditionally show or hide certain drivers...

My race weekend:
with PB 1.25.030 local (+0.003 to REC by Tijny) and a racetotaltime test of 59min56 (Tijny 56min49, me maximal reachable 56min52 ish), 2 stops, 88% fuel, quite under practice pace AND with too much fuel consumption in the first 1-2 stints, ending up needing to save a lot of fuel in the end. Lucky 2nd place.

Tijny:
1.25.027 WR (pole & ability to improve laprecords without driving millions laps like me & the ability to drive constant fast races in the qualification), crushing race pace (i kinda expected it to be likely 0.2ish/lap faster than mine..or 0.3ish if i suck at raceday, but still hoped for a little wonder), gone for the 3rd pitstop ..just for having more fun. That's how he pwned the rest of the field -.-

Badeend:
2 crashs and a probably unnecessary 2nd pitstop with the pace of an else solid 2nd place. Quite a funny 2nd pitstop though, considering he stopped at the very end, almost missing the zone where the crew may change his tyres^^

Whip/Oompa/Bade:
Funny drift battle between Whip, Oompa and Badeend once. Whip overtaking both in the long part. Oompa on startline almost overtaking both as well, but kinda just bumps into the back of Badeend for some reason.

Will/Gol/dede:
Bit of a lap 1 desaster for dede, getting pinballed offroad due to Gols attack, followed by Wills crash into Gol, who bumps dede off.
Will/Gol ended up in last 2 places before next curve, kind of an instant punishment.

dede/Alexander Wurz:
nice 2 battle phases between you 2 there. +-lap 12 and 20 for quite a while.

Carlos/power/Silva:
nice battle for 11th place there. Pity that WILL lost 2 places in the end there..

Fuel award:
Gol/Laf were the winners of the "Fuel Fool" award this race and started with 100% fuel, not setting the startfuel.
Silva wins the "Safety first" award for setting the startfuel to a quite high 96%.
While Whip, Tijny and Max Trestappen were calculating already pretty safe with their 91% (rest of fiel 92-94), the "Save fuel" award for this race goes to Ippon-Wazaari and me, starting with just 88%. Note: in a testrace i even almost finished a race with 87%! 22 seconds of gas left, Waza still with 24 seconds (1 lap behind). Tijny had around 2.0/2.1% left. So..Wazaari kinda wins the "Fuel Calculation" Award for setting startfuel strategicly perfectly, expecting he will end up 1 lap behind the winner, ending up with 0.5% fuel. Not sure though, if he had to save a lot of fuel in the end, like i had to.
Who consumed the most fuel, i don't know yet..maybe power79 due to his driving style? And maybe it was not Waza, being green peace nr.1 with just 87.4% of fuel consumption until crossing the finish line.

Some kinda eye catcher to see if someone drove weirdly longer in a lap compared to his normal laps. A different font color in the laptime or maybe a column with note "Crash" or "Mistake", maybe?

just checked lap 1 for the start winner Wokinger (+8 positions) and loser Laf (-6 positions).
Wokiner seemed to kinda fullcontact the first curve, ending up in pinballing many drivers at once, Laf included. Too rough for my taste. Poor Laf was nearly at the end of the field at some point. He then could catch up a little, ending up in sidebumping Wazaari offroad in lap 1 though - a situation, side by side, where the rules might say you have to drive the inner (slower) line there and not drive to the very outside in next curve, right? To avoid being sidebumped once by Tijny in the same curve, when he overtook me, i just slowed down a bit on the outside, to just let him pass and not risk getting sidebumped offroad, because he'd beat me anyways. In a tougher fight, i would have probably kept me side to side line, forcing the inner car to slowdown for the next curve.
Imo Laf might have to wait for Waza and let him pass there.
This curve just sucks for overtaking fairly, wether you overtake outside or inside. Double trouble is programmed there, if you ask me^^...-> sidebump -> 1 goes offroad -> both drivers lose +-3 seconds (if front car waits)..

Well, I had to change my driving style because even 100% fuel wouldn't be enough to finish race with my old driving style. I still use quite a lot so maybe I am close to having largest "carbon footprint".

Maaaybe something risky scripted like "PIT" as side note in a column could add nice information to a lap overview.

Lap conversions might not work with new TS version and laps to AI function requires also saving video/recording in special RecordingInterval(sliders.ini) value. Don't remember what it is but that's not important anyway. You should be able to read lap info and also copy-paste the data if you want. Fuel and Tyre data are "end of lap" values.

What tool did you use to cut out laps?

You can check my tool from above link. But if you just want to cut part of a video you can watch the recording in Turbo Sliders and press F4(recording) to start making video clip and then F4 again to end it. Saved clip should then be in "video" folder.

My secont half of the race was much more consistent than the 1st half, losing much less time to the leaders. (well, except the last lap ) I lost 30s to the leaders on the 1st half but only 6s on the 2nd. But that seems a trend for several players.Interesting.
What the hell happened to silva on lap 32 and 33? Maybe he messsed up the start/finish straight and compromised two laps. He's faster than me by a significant margin but it's the second race in a row he messes up somehow. He was also the last driver not being lapped.

Did you think you were going to finish the race with 88% fuel without having to change your driving style? Or did you know it was a risky percentage, but felt like you would need any possible edge you could get? Taking 2% less might save around 1.0-1.5 seconds over the course of an hour, but eco driving costs much more than that, and then there's still the psychological effect of worrying whether you can get home safely. I prefer knowing for sure that I can make it to the end without conserving fuel at any point.

The timings are based on the average pace of the race winner. Taking myself as an example, I lost 15 seconds to my own average pace in the first 21 laps, but gained those same 15 seconds back in the latter half (which works out to be a difference of 30 seconds). It's completely normal, with an emptier fuel tank you can easily go 1.0-1.5 seconds/lap faster than early on in the race. The traffic is also much denser in the beginning, especially if you're in the pack fighting for 5th-10th position. At least that's what I heard...

He pitted, forgot to fully repair his tyres like a Badeend, and then decided to come in again on the next lap. Seems like not such a great strategy if you ask me!

Haha yeah it was more a war of nerves but we had our fight moments, like that crossing lines maneuvre in Turn 3 (the one you avoid if you pit) around lap 36-38 I don't remember :p

And thanks to all of you for these special extras, I really enjoy them cause I'm a statistic nerd so they are really welcome. Can't wait to race again, even if it seems I have some problems with new track :s

We may consider this in case we get 40+ players qualified. But, why don't you simply drive the main race? It's not that hard to get to top 20 I guess. And even if you don't, you can still drive the race if there are free spots.

Actually, I thought that a "div2" with a "different day/time (later) than div1" might be a second chance to race for top20 players who couldn't race div1.
E.g. Sunday night this div1 race happens, the next day Magnam, Palo and Betix (top20s who didn't show up for div1) can play a div2 race with the players below top20 who didn't pass the div1-free-spots-repechage.
But yeah, if it's a "div1-absentees + 3 random guys" cup it doesn't make sense, we need more people - I'm not sure how many of us #21-#40 would show up.

First time i tried that car, i was 1-3 seconds (track depending) slower than the record as well. I'm sure, you guys will catch up, if you just practice a little. Although watching dede race, it kinda felt like he is more chilling and having fun cruising than trying any serious... yet! Which is fine too, though!

Well..in my last test run, i think i did not have to save a lot of fuel in the end. In the race though, i used a bit more fuel somehow. Just to be sure i saved probably a bit more fuel than i needed in the end, but considering 2nd place was kind of safe that way, it felt like the right decision.
I agree that needing to save fuel can cost way more seconds than the time i gain with driving on lower fuel. I will add an additional 1% safety (also good in case of disconnections/warps/crashs) for the next races, most likely.
But yeah, i feel like i need any possible edge^^. Just told Whippe yesterday, that my pure skill, pace and pressure handling is not as good as yours. That being said: i'm not gonna pit-"cheat" crash in the haybales to save time though, in case that is not forbidden yet anyways..
