Thats the spirit!

Well, if u would have been around in the punaball-scene longer, u would have known about the sensitivety surrounding the punaball arena's and ball. Its not something i invented, its just a tradition Puna started and one i would like to uphold.
Its true that people asked for a fresh arena, i remember Mike asking me to build a new one but its hard to create something which by default will not be any better than the one that exists already.

Anyway, solong and thanks for all the fish...did u sign up for the cup yet?

Indeed i have not been playing nearly as long as most of you (will be 1 year in May) but i am learning

Indeed i have signed up for USA, i need my teammate fast, we will need much training, all of out games will be very hard. I guess B4R3K2 and Reedy signed up, so i guess another player is needed, then the training begins!

I think that it's thanks to Wazaari and Mike Nike and less other people if there are still "old" players active. I'm playing since July 2005 and I feel really bored about the game: too many "stupid" bugs, too little game improvement, ts ranking corrupted by cheat-records, no regular cups (except SIT organised by Wazaari and some cup organised by Mike Nike) and empty servers.

TS needs a revolution or many players will leave (many left already).

No Dede thats not what I ment by that. I did not expect JGG to organise, i expected Mike Nike, Wazarri, road and some older players to organize (like it is now). All i ment was it seemed that the cup was being watered down by Ippon, but it is not like this i know. The cup should be talked of here and organised here, in the TS forum and not the Ippon forum. This is all i ment by it.

PS - Again, i have nothing against the Ippon team, im sure if all of this were being held at the GPOR forum, many would not be so happy.

Hey i have a question. How are teams decided? I mean, if there are 5 from US, how are the 2 player teams set? I am hoping (i guess it is) it is set by the players themselves. Another question, how many teams from each country can play? I think this quesion is answered somewhere, ill look around.

EDIT - ahhh yes i just read today's post on ippon-forum. All seems very nice, i am starting to get excited! So, would all be ok if i am captain of the US team? it says "The oldest, wisest guy from your team having the smallest ego". out of the ones signed for US i am the oldest (i think, at least 2nd), i have been following this world cup since it has been announced, and unlike HH thinks, i dont have a large ego

. I ask you guys first before i talk to my other teammembers. My idea is i will hold some matches with all US players, and with some help from others, i will pick the best ones to play. All cool with you guys?

Also, is the GPOR server considered a neutral server? if it comes down to a tie, it would be easy to play the 3rd leg there, since i am the admin. And for most people, it is less than 200 ping (for a 4 player game, im sure less then 200).

Looking goooood! We need to have a place to put all recordings also, i want to watch these matches!

Why? Organizers take the cup into their forum.. Why putting it here when you haven't a section for it? One topic is not enough, we need a section (like Turbo Sliders here) only for the cup.

If you organize a World Cup and u manage it on GPOR forum, oh well, there are no problems for me!
