How to get Turbosliders to work in Linux

Post by Hengari » Wed Jan 05, 2005 1:09 am

I have written some hopefully helpfull guide to get TS running in Linux. I used two Linux distros with TS 0.86b and TS 1.00.

The guide can be found at: http://www.sliderpoint.tk and a direct link to it is http://www.dhost.info/sliderpoint/ts-in-linux.php

As always you can ask and send comments about that guide. Also about the track design -guide.

One quickie:

Should I downgrade the libSDL_gfx library since I seem to have a newer one (libSDL_gfx.so.12) and Slider doesn't approve of that? Or is there a way to use the newer libraries?

Maybe my guide is not so easy to understand :)
You can just make a symbolic link in the /usr/lib dir named libSDL_gfx.so.9 (the file that isn't found) which points to that newer libSDL_gfx.so.12.
