IPPON TEAM HAS THE PLEASURE TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST 50cc Kart Championship

THE CHAMPIONSHIP SPECIFICATIONS ARE:
-16 Drivers each race.
-10 Kart Tracks (by Ippon-Benzin), one for each race.

Races will be held every 2 weeks after dinnertime (Start time: 21:30-22:00 CET Time; 22:30-23:00 Finnish time).
The days of the week have not been chosen yet. We will decide these after we know everyoneâ€™s preference.

Car Used:

The car is the 50cc'Jazz'o'Kart by Jazzyclub with a slight modification because the old design was too bouncy.
The new car is called 50cc Kart and is less bouncy.
All other settings and png-files are the same

DATES:

Have to be decided
Tournament will start somewhere in the middle of September

Registration

Why register?:
Only a registered player can play in the cup.
If you didnâ€™t register, your qualification times will not count and you cannot compete in the race.

Who can register?:
Everybody who has a copy of turbosliders full version can join.

How to register:
You could either register to 50cc Kart Championship as a single player or as a team of 2-4 players.
In case you want to register as a single player you have to register yourself.
If you will be competing in a team, only one team member has to sign up the team and its team members.
Teams can be organised in the way the players want, but the maximum of players is 4.
A single player can decide at any point during the season to become a member of a team or create a new team.
Also, a team member can change to another team or become a single player if he wants.

I'm happy to see a non-default car cup by team Ippon!

EDIT - i went to that page and it got me excited about this cup. Ippon cups always are set up very nice. Tracks looks so fun (great job Benzi).

About the track voting for next season, i would like to make the 10 tracks. I can make them all in that similar style, using Photoshop for the wall. It would be fun to make

EDIT 2 - I tested the first track (the one shown on the webpage). It does feel like a carting track, nice feel i like it.

!!!IMPORTANT!!!
I updated the outdoor tracks because while testing hengari showed me there are some grass spots on the track which are really bad
So for all who played in the server tonight or downloaded the kart track already: Download Outdoor Update or goto www.kart-championship.de.vu and download whole track pack again and overwrite files

Another thing:
We tested tonight the kart tracks and car
There will be hopefully another test tomorrow evening
The time isnt fit yet but i'll tell in irc when the server is up
So all who signed and all who probably like to sign can try it out there

First of all i just wanna remind of this thread
Second thing is there will be another test server with all tracks and fuel
this evening i think around 22.30 german time (23.30 finnish)
Everybody can come and test if he want to register for the cup

About registering:
If u want to register u can also register when u have made ur first qualifying time, just send the email with ur video and the requested things like name/team and so on and so u will be registered too

I have just downloaded and tried out some tracks. When I'm on the grass the car spins like crazy when I turn. Is this an error or is it intended? I can actually get maybe about 4-5 revolutions/second... unstearable actually.

this is intended so u dont cut over grass u first have to stop turning and then u can drive slowly from grass to tarmac

No, everyone can play, but only best 2 (?) players will count for team ranking.

(this was told me by benzin - correct me if I'm wrong)

and dede is absolutely rigth only best 2 are counted for team ranking but everyone who qualified can play

But the problem is that sometimes any player have no time or have some other kind of problem and can't join, so we ensure a 3-4 people per race...

But if it's not a problem we can do two teams but the members of one of this sometimes will not joing.

About qualifying... What track do I need to do the qualifying lap on and why do I need to qualify? I mean is it because there might be more then 16 players and if so, do I then need to qualify for each race or do you select a track to qualify at the start of the season to select who players get to play the entire season?
