Burn's Trackmaking Competition Cup-rescheduled 7:00 CET 13th

Hello all,

I am holding a cup that will include all of the tracks from Jarno's Trackmaking Competition. This is a open event that has no qualification, and will be held only 1 day. It will be a fun cup for everyone, only the first 16 will be able to race(maybe more if lucky). Cars: Easyslider, Antislider, Spinner, Slider, and Speeder(maybe random). This cup will b held on January 6th at 7:00 CET PM. [FN] The BoRg will be the server administrator. 8 laps on each track will do and the winner is the winner, no more no less! The points system will be:17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1(2 points for fastest lap!). If you like please say i'm in or contact me at evmi94@aol.com or turboslidersburn@hotmail.com. I am in another competition that saturday actually.. 2 different events, 1 judged and 1 testing event.. XHTML and Web Design Team for an organization called BPA (business professionals of america).

I am needed for that competition from 9AM - 1PM EST or so. I'll still try to make the cup.

That's kind of unfair to determine the starting positions like that, isn't it?

How were they determined anyway? And also - how are you going to ensure that every player gets to his allocated grid position? AFAIK, there isn't a way in TS to set players positions like that. It's usually random or fastest lap or (reverse) cup positions or I don't know, but I don't know of any way to set i.e. position 5 for me..

By driving one lap organizing "race" before the race to set the starting positions. It's that simple.

I got a gut feeling that it would take us 7 or 8 attempts to get it right

And we have done it in 1st try on those cups which I have seen it used. Of course that method needs some brain usage from the players.
