I searched through records(wanking) and i knew by playing who i've been with many of those people many times(attendance), i can also tell by racing with them, how good they are i record cups sometimes and it usually turns out that etana wins by alot, mike nike gets 3 records, i race with you(dede) alot!Jarno has many records and tijny is just amazing with wanking!
That pretty much how i came to a conclusion of
1.Jarno
2.Tijny
3.etana
4.Ippon-dede
and 5.Mike Nike
But some of it is in my opinion too because there are alot of others who have/had as many records as the top 5!

There is no LaTuska in best slider driver category? Hm...

Who are in commision?

Why people always think that *fast* means *best*? I've never seen LaTuska winning anything but some demo races.

Commission is composed by active and seasoned players. We aren't prizing lapwanking, diesel. Lapwanking -----> DIT&Ranking

Well, I suppose we could add LaTuska to the list since e.g. Daft is on it too. But as dede pointed out, this is about competitiveness (basic speed/stability/pressure handling) and NOT peak performance.

Oh, maybe I wasn't clear about this: those candidates I posted before are those ones who received AT LEAST 1 vote, but someone doesn't have any chance for the win

Results will be pretty fair, just because many players are voting.. but I can say that my votes weren't so far from the final ones

Daft is in the list because he played some cup and online race. We can say that he's not that good to win the award, for example. LaTuska played even less than Daft, so we can't rank him.

If someone would ask me , LaTuska is in Top 10 TS player ever.I know him as "silent warrior".
Here is my PERSONAL opinion.

And yes , in racing games "fast"="best".

I didn't seen Daft & La Tuska driving in any official cups (daft just some off line tounament)
How can we vote them???

I am really shocked....if one of them is best player i can quit it now!!!

Hey man.. I know that lapwanking has a big importance for you (and for me too), but we can't really say that a lapwanker is better than a guy with good racing skills/good pressure handling/average speed. Everyone is able to reach "good" laps lapwanking. Even Bar managed to beat e.g. Janne in some lapwanking tournament. But this doesn't mean that Bar is better than Janne.

And I for one don't know him at all. It's a commonly acknowledged fact that he only uses his full license for lapwanking, so how can we judge his real racing abilities?

dede are those all of the categories? If they are, add some like, Best Wanker, Best Team, Best Track, things like that! not just for players but for a group effort and trackmaking!

Criteria for this category are: results obtained by the team, single players' skills, single players' potential skills and few others. 2006 wasn't a good year for teams, so hopefully this award will involve more people joining teams, teams challenging each others, teams leagues, etc.

Haven't had the time to vote seriously yet and neither to follow all steps of Kovalainen's TS career

...but i post now already, because i think he deserves to be mentioned: although maybe not many europe TS drivers know him...(IMO) he is one of the best newcomers in TS ever - if he is no old driver using a 2nd nick

Yes, I forgot to mention that these awards are based on activity on European servers. There's no way to compare European players to Brazilian ones. Probably TSB Awards will count as official awards for TS.com too.
